WHAT TO PREPARE FOR A TEACHING VISA (E-2) IN KOREA
To teach at a school in Korea, you need an E-2 visa, sponsored by your employer (a school).
Required documents for the visa application:
✔ A valid passport (must have more than 1 year left before expiration)
✔ An apostilled national criminal background check
- Must be a clean record issued within the last 6 months
- *For Canadians: Must be an RCMP-issued police check with fingerprints, and it must be authenticated by the Korean consulate in Canada*
✔ An apostilled notarized diploma (a copy is acceptable)
- *For Canadians: The diploma must be notarized and authenticated by the Korean consulate in Canada*
✔ Passport pictures (3.5 cm x 4.5 cm)
✔ A resume
✔ A self medical check form (provided by CUBE Recruiting — it is a self-assessment form)
✔ A signed contract (will be provided once your job placement is confirmed)
